Feathers Fins and Fotos Ltd is a family business. We run two boats, the 26ft “Bonito’ from Kilifi and the 30ft “Fish Eagle” from Watamu (Approximately one hour’s drive from the Mnarani club) considered one of Africa’s top fishing destinations Both Boats are fully licensed and registered with the Kenyan Maritime Authority. With professional skippers and crew both boats carry conventional trolling tackle ranging from 20lb to 130lb.  Fishing in Watamu Although there is a large variety and number of game fish in watamu it is its excellent billfishing which makes Watamu an international fishing hot spot. 30ft “Fish Eagle” is anchored in Watamu. Equipped with up to date trolling tackle stand up harness’s and Fighting chair. 

jbj Inshore and offshore light tackle trolling and drop shot fishing: As the sun rises over the Kilii creek its blue, calm waters come alive when the predatory King fish and trevally feed on the plentiul sardines which take shelter underneath the boats on the trot line where our 23ft “Bonito” is moored. Start the day off with some casting and dead baiting off the mnarani club jetty before heading out to explore the many coral heads, peaks and dropoffs scattered amoungst the three reefs which protect the creek from the open sea. enjoy great snorkeling, and light tackle dropshot and trolling fun. jj |

Fishing in Kilifi Kilifi offers great light tackle fishing from the Mnarani jetty through the creeks three reefs and out into the open sea for the chance to catch Sailish, Wahoo, Mackrel, Tuna, Dorado, Trevally as well as the occasional Black or Striped Marlin. Recently record breaking Broadbill have been caught off Kilifi bottom fishing deep mountains during the day time
